In Italy, we call it Cachi and it’s a very common fruit. In Autumn, we eat lots of it and my toddler simply loves them pureed without anything added. With this fruit, you can prepare a lovely jam or cakes. And for a healthy snack, just add a couple of spoons of Greek-style full-fat yoghurt. Sometimes, I prepare a few jars in advance and freeze them, but generally, I like to just scoop out the insides and eat them as they are; raw, sweet and simply delicious!
Method
Simply wash them, peel them and cut them into pieces. Then puree with a hand blender until smooth.
